TESTIMONIALS

What our guest say:

A wonderful surprise location with an amazing view. We happened upon this delightful place for lunch after having a poor botanical garden tour in the morning. The atmosphere, quiet, beauty, service, food and amazing views turned a disappointing morning into a pleasant day trip. The food was quite good but the scenery was extraordinary.

Love everything about this place. Hillburi is a cute hotel located in the heart of Aburi. I absolutely loved my stay here, the room, the surroundings and ooo the infinity pool(beautiful view????). A perfect little getaway you'll definitely love.

An exquisite escape in the mountains. Hillburi is a Hotel/Restaurant with a nice sports-bar, inside and outside restaurant and a beautiful pool overlooking valleys and mountains. The owners and staff are obviously dedicated to the well-being of their guests. Julius (supervisor) is always welcoming with an infinite smile, the food is a combination of Lebanese-International, with a varied selection of starters, pizzas, mains, salads and sides with a varying list of specials on the blackboard. I've always found the food of good quality at reasonable prices. Hillburi is set in a lush and mature garden with a lively variety of plants and flowers. My family and I always live to come here and enjoy the very relaxing atmosphere in the fresh and cool air with stunning views from the upper balcony. Unconditional recommendation for sure!

I love this place! A resort in the hills, we spent several afternoons here chilling in/by the pool and grabbing a long lingering lunch. You pay 50 ghs per adult to swim . . . . It's a beauifully located, is small and intimate with a boutique feel with a decent enough menu. The waitstaff are really tentative and layed back, but if you're spending an afternoon unwinding, you shouldn't be in a hurry. Family friendly and a great place to meet up with friends.

Just Wonderful! How to describe this place without being a poète? Sitting on top of a hill, the resort provides a fantastic view over the valley and surrounding Aburi mountains. The garden is beautifully designed and every step from the hotel reception down to the pool side is a "waow- moment. Depending on the Accra traffic it is a 40mn drive from Accra/ Tetteh Quarshie, making it a perfect day trip, starting at the Aburi Botanical Gardens to continue in the Hillburi pool and restaurant. Best souvenirs- pictures ever!

Relaxed and welcoming getaway in the hills. Very nice and beautiful place in the hills. The garden has an intimate feeling and is very well kept. The staff is friendly and gives good service and the view is beautiful. The three of us had lunched and went for a swim. We were all happy with our food which came in large potions. We recommend the non-alcoholic refreshing ginger root drink.

Stunning, serene location. It is really priced on the high side, but the service was excellent - unfortunately a rarity for many pricey places. John and Charles provided first class service; both Augustine and Charles even accommodated a special request for fresh coconut, twice! I found out later that John was even a trainee - there are lots of experienced service personnel who are not as good and professional as he was. Keep it up, Hillburi!
